MEMBERSHIP

Since last month, we have had two more new members join our branch.  Since last fall, we have 8 new members (!).  A list was recently sent out to you to update your yearbook.

Dues for most of us are starting to be collected.  Until June 30, 2022 all of our expiration dates were June 30.  After that time dues expire one year after joining.  Please see the Financial Corner for information on paying dues.

Remember, your dues enable our Branch to continue to work towards our mission statement to advance equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy.  The ways our branch does this is through a presence in the community through the Greater Whittier Chamber of Commerce and the work done by Myra Long Scholarship Fund.  They also enable National to give out scholarships and grants and advocate for girls and women.

In addition to the good your dues can accomplish through AAUW, they also open up the excellent speakers at our Branch Meetings, and the opportunity to socialize through our many Sections.
