Greater Whittier Area AAUW will hold its Annual Branch Meeting on April 11, 2026. At that time, we will hold elections for the Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term. 100th Anniversary Celebration
I am pleased to announce Dianne Owens as our Keynote Speaker for the 100th Anniversary meeting and celebration on April 11, 2026. Dianne is the 2025-2026 AAUW Board Chair. She is a past president of AAUW California, 2020-2022. She is a long-time member of AAUW Lompoc-Vandenberg Branch and has served as president and other offices. Dianne serves on the Santa Barbara County Workforce Development Board as Vice Chair and Youth Committee
Chair. She has also served Santa Barbara County as an elected Supervisor of the 4th District. She supervised government contracts in California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii for a private company that facilitated job search workshops for the unemployed. She is a certified facilitator/trainer with the Institute of Cultural Affairs and Curtis & Associates, Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University in Consumer and Family Sciences. Dianne exemplifies AAUW values and we are honored to have her speak at our 100th Anniversary. Be sure to save the date; everyone
