THE NEW PHOENIX

The New Phoenix group, comprised of AAUW members who are single, plans to meet at the “Dining for Dollars” event on Thursday, October 19, at the Mission Square Italian Restaurant at 5 PM. The restaurant is on Penn across the street from the Doubletree Hotel where free parking is available. We would like to reserve a space on the lovely patio for an outdoor dinner where we can enjoy a meal with friends, have a portion of the bill go to the Myra Long Scholarship Fund, and discuss ideas for future trips together.

Save the date. Please note that we are planning a trip to Montebello on November 2, 2023, to enjoy the Van Gogh Immersive Experience-Los Angeles. Each of you can go to Google to purchase your own ticket for entry on Nov. 2 at 11 AM.  The senior price is $25.90. We will meet each other there. More details to follow.
