LA CUISINE
La Cuisine invites you to join us for fun evenings of good food, special friends, and great conversations. We are planning for next year, and you are welcome!
Whether you cook by yourself or as a couple, are a gourmet cook or a novice, La Cuisine would love to have you join us. The host(s) set themes and select menus. Each member is assigned one dish to bring and given the recipes and helpful notes. Costs are divided among those attending, so we get a gourmet meal for little money. It is a chance to try foods you might not have tried before and even learn a little about the country or theme.
At our May Route 66 dinner, Mahlon Woirhaye entertained us with his notes about his early trips on Route 66 with his family. One favorite was remembering the canvas bags hanging off the front of the car to keep it cool. The menu featured St. Louis ribs and Oklahoma BBQ chicken. Ohhh, it was good!
